About the Performance

A disciplined, high-school student from a respected home is publicly labelled a thief by his powerful father and school authorities; as humiliation replaces guidance, the boy deliberately steps into the criminal identity forced upon him, until he must decide whether to become what they fear or reclaim his future on his own terms. JUNIOR has everything society says should keep a boy “on the right path”: a stable home, good schooling, and a father who is a respected police commander. What he lacks is dignity. At school and at home, discipline is enforced through humiliation, fear, and public shame, especially by his father, CROSSFIRE, whose belief in harsh correction leaves no room for explanation or compassion.
