Reimagining Theatre - This theme responds to a pressing question: what next? The theatre world is evolving. Audiences are changing, technology is reshaping expression, and artists are challenging inherited models of creativity. “Reimagining Theatre” is an invitation to rethink how theatre looks, who makes it, and the impact it leaves behind. Application runs from December 15th 2025 to March 10th, 2026.

The focus of our shows and events is on the development of Kenyan theatre. Through international performances and training and workshops, we strive to enhance theatre through new ideas and progressive steps.
Apart from theatrical performances, the festival provides attendees with a variety of different experiences. Most activities at KITFest are curated to promote fun, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
